Once “Just Girly Things” exploded, he had Buzzfeed profiling him and every major label knocking at his door. Follow-up single “Dessert” achieved even greater accolades. Upon release, it landed at #4 on iTunes Top Electronic Songs Chart and #1 on Shazam’s US Trending Chart. A Snapchat by Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell featuring the single resulted in it becoming the #1 song on New Zealand radio. The track spread internationally and the Philippine TV show Eat Bulaga featured the song daily taking it to #1 on iTunes; taking “Dessert” to 2x’s platinum in the Philippines. Dawin’s “Dessert” was recently certified platinum in the U.S. by the R.I.A.A. and globally certified 2x’s platinum in New Zealand, 3x’s Australia and 1x in Denmark, Philippines and a gold in Canada. After becoming a veritable dance craze, the song accumulated over 245 million view on Youtube and 156 million Spotify streams. His last release, an EP titled, “Sunday” which has already shown the viral storm brewing with his hit single ‘Jumpshot.” The song gains its momentum with over 48 Million YouTube plays and 26 Million Spotify Streams. During this time Dawin was working hard in the studio finishing up his first full-length album, “Errors” which is set to hit stores world wide on March 31st.
